“Welcome to the Emerald Isle”

This environmental issues explored the theme of air pollution, where people are forced to wear gas masks as part of their daily lives. The gas mask is seen as the newest fashion accessory symbolising the effect on people's cultures in polluted cities. There is a sense of dark humour focused on climate deniers and tourism in the city. Belfast is my chosen city, which I live close to because it is one of the most polluted cities in the UK. I wanted to address the serious issue of air pollution in the environment and what I truly believe about climate change today.
